only 5.5 days at home. aichee!

so i am home for a brief rest. i have spent a lovely three weeks in denmark at a cisv village - which was wonderful - and now i am home, since friday evening, and getting ready to take off on thursday.
today i met the colombian interchange delegation that has been hanging out in ottawa for the past month. juliana, the leader, is looking forward to throwing me a party in colombia with all sorts of other cisvers. hah. yesssss.
i am a bit overwhelmed with thought and emotion at the moment. i am hoping that my last three days here will provide a bit of clarity - and maybe i can kick this village-itis.

i went to the department of foreign affairs the other day to get my degree legalized in order to apply for my colombian work visa. coincidentally, i am going to see joe's band, " the department of foreign affairs", play at irene's pub on saturday night. weee! see you there.

time goes by... so slowly...

so happy to be dancing in the kitchen these days, but i ALSO have new news.... I am off on an adventure to colombia next year!
i have signed my life away to a beautiful private school in the mountains, where i will be teaching (what?! teaching?!) grade 9 and 10 biology. i will use this blog to post funny comments/ lovely pictures and hopefully you all can keep up with me. it will be a wild ride no doubt.
