no longer la nueva.. la vieja de pronto?

it's difficult to know what to write here now - something definitive and conclusive, something funny, something emotional, in spanish? english?

tomorrow night i am flying to canada from bogota. with all my most important things. and i'm leaving behind a load of stuff for friends and also a part of my heart.

it's been a whirlwind three years.

2 schools, 2 cities, 5 fieldtrips, 200 students (WHAT!), incredible colleagues, inspiring friends, brasil, san andres, italy, chicago, the amazon, the islands, team three, AIM 07, the fountain in florence, tayrona, the bigbang, the penthouse, darpapaya, la plaza, juan valdez, maria candelaria, museo botero, la quinta, visits from alexander, sarah, astrid, alex, christopher, kelly, eamonn, carolynn, katie, my mum twice and my dad - visits to antonio, home. falling in love. 2 villages. tashi. mani, la despedida, pop, prom granadino, stella boots, secret love affairs, orchids, a bachelorette party at my house, a wedding on the beach, a welcome back party, a slight stalker and a lot of cisv work. lilies, roses, cold showers and so much love. juanma's mum and dad. luz and chucho. playing guitar with nick, ico. patio dance party and spritz afternoon. alice's graduation party, mateo and our adventure to alkosto, villa de leyva, birthday chiva, vallenato band and papayera.fresh fruit, arepahuevo... and love. most of all love.

things i hope i will never ever forget.

and although for the past while i haven't been recording any moments here, on this blog is a lot of what i've experienced - we've made some beautiful memories here.

on to new adventures, and possibly a new blog? will let you know, my beautiful (and now probably extremely minimal) readers.
